Things to do in Technopark

Technopark, founded in 1990 as India's first IT park, spreads over several campuses around Kazhakkoottam, with Technocity further north at Pallippuram. Wikipedia's figures put it at roughly 470 to 490 companies and 70,000 or more employees. Park Centre, the administration building in Phase I, has the auditorium used for tech talks, startup demo days, hackathon finals and company town halls, and the Technopark Club runs sports leagues. Employee groups organise Tech-A-Break, the park's annual cultural festival, along with film festivals, quiz leagues and charity runs. The UST campus in Phase II is the start point of the Trivandrum Marathon. Entry to most buildings needs registration or an invite.
