Things to do in PMG & Pattom

PMG Junction, a kilometre north of Palayam, is where the Kerala State Science and Technology Museum and its Priyadarsini Planetarium stand, the city's standard school-holiday outing. The road continues through Plamoodu to Pattom and Kesavadasapuram, a belt of offices, coaching centres, hospitals and apartment blocks whose event calendar is mostly workshops: baking and cooking studios in Kumarapuram, music and dance schools, coding classes and health camps around the Government Medical College. Restaurants and bakeries at Pattom and Kesavadasapuram stay busy late. City buses between East Fort and Kazhakkoottam via Ulloor run through the whole stretch.
