About Magic Planet
Magic Planet, which calls itself India's first magic theme park, was opened on 31 October 2014 by the magician Gopinath Muthukad at the KINFRA Film and Video Park near Kazhakkoottam. A visit moves through a walk-in history of magic and a series of live shows: stage illusions with dance and music, mirror illusions and mentalism, close-up conjuring, balloon magic, street magic including the Indian rope trick, and a circus-style acrobatics tent. The same campus houses the Different Art Centre, which trains children with disabilities in the performing arts; their showcase is part of the programme. The park is open from 10 am to 5 pm.
