About Greenfield International Stadium
Greenfield International Stadium, officially The Sports Hub, is Kerala's biggest cricket and football ground, opened on 26 January 2015 opposite the University of Kerala's Kariavattom campus. The university owns the land, and Kariavattom Sports Facilities Limited and the Kerala Cricket Association operate it. It hosted the 2015 SAFF Championship football before its first men's international, a rain-shortened T20I against New Zealand in November 2017. India beat Sri Lanka here by 317 runs in an ODI in January 2023, women's T20Is against Sri Lanka followed in December 2025, and the most recent international was the ODI against West Indies on 27 September 2026, which India won by eight wickets. Every match of the Kerala Cricket League is also played here.
