Lulu Mall Thiruvananthapuram stands on the NH 66 bypass at Aakkulam and opened to the public on 17 December 2021, a day after its formal inauguration. With a built-up area of about 22 lakh square feet it is the largest mall in the city, anchored by a Lulu Hypermarket and a 12-screen PVR that includes Kerala's first IMAX screen. For events, the central atrium is the draw: festive installations at Onam, Christmas and New Year, brand launches, film promotions with cast appearances, kids' workshops, fashion and food weeks and midnight shopping sales. The food court and the indoor entertainment zone keep it busy on weekdays as well.
